Top service staff Issam-Billie and colleagues

"10 of us booked a last minute family/friends holiday.What a wonderful hotel. Issam - Billie in the restaurant was extremely attentive. Provided top service and always ensured our party was well cared for during our stay. He spoke great English and is definitely dedicated to his role- Issam would make an excellent manager. He pays attention to detail and recalls the party names and shows effort to relate to the children with his warmth and friendliness. Even in his day off he made sure staff were aware of our needs when allocating a table. He always goes above and beyond to make our dining experience enjoyable and memorable. And further more even recognised our party out of work hours when we were walking locally. The Children would look forward to seeing Issam on our evenings. He made our holiday with 5* service!The overall stay has been pleasurable and the staff and hotel have provided the best service. Rooms are immaculate, spacious, clean and well equipped. Facilities are great for a lovely chilled holiday. Entertainment staff are fab. Even bar staff are extremely helpful, especially Ahmed in the foyer/reception bar. Life guards are able to assist with beach activities and have been helpful such as Ahmed.Overall our stay has been enjoyable, everything we needed was there and we would return. Staff are exceptional."

❤️Above and beyond…again❤️

"This was our 4th summer holiday here and it just gets better and better.Arriving at 11 am we were greeted with a welcome cocktail and knowing we wouldn’t get our room for a couple of hours, did a quick change and hit the pools. For lunch we headed to the BBQ. We were welcomed by Moez who we hadn’t encountered before. His customer service was excellent. This exceptional service continued throughout our stay with wine and water in an ice bucket ready for us at our table every day.Collecting our key wasn’t as smooth as previous years but we got it soon enough and were in the beautifully clean, spacious bedrooms in the hotel. What we notice about this hotel is that every year improvements are made, no matter how small, they continually work hard to improve and update. The new carpets, door numbers and key holder pad were welcome improvements as were many more.Later in the afternoon, my husband saw Karim and waved to him. On his return, Karim had our drinks ready on his tray to serve us after recalling what we drank from last year ❤️. This just implants the level of high customer service that the hotel expect from their staff and, what feels like a personal touch for customers, can be experienced by all guests. Aymen served us well too and would find us a table in the evening if it was busy outside. He would also bring another drink to the table before we had finished and needed to reorder.We were delighted to see our familiar waiter in the restaurant, Hassen. He greeted us warmly and served us well during our stay when he was there. The food in the restaurant is gorgeous, so much to choose from. Twice I had a pizza calzone made for me. The desserts are incredible and so tasty. Everything is so fresh and delicious. When our usual waiter was suddenly off for a couple of days we ventured onto the outside terrace for dinner. This was a great experience and we were served by Mtim who also displayed wonderful customer service, dressing our table beautifully.On the Saturday morning we were also warmly welcomed by Othman in the pool bar who remembered us from previous years. The way he runs the bar and makes every guest feel so special is a real credit to him. He recognises the patterns of guests, and brings drinks to sunbeds even when you haven’t ordered as he knows what your routine usually is. The other pool bar staff are also hardworking and friendly. The fact that this hotel retains these wonderful staff shows the commitment they have in providing the best experience.The hotel have now taken over the club bar by the beach. This must be welcomed from any bungalows near to it as it doesn’t open in the evening and has a far better seating area for guests around the bar. The old beach bar is now a vacant area and would be better to house the table tennis as it’s a shaded area. ( in my opinion)Plenty of choice again at breakfast. Served again by the friendly omelette man and the lovely lady who cooked poached eggs for me because I like them with a runny yolk.This years entertainment team were the best we’ve experienced. We don’t tend to join in as such, and have seen the shows in the past. But this year, they still came over to us to say hello and let us know what was on, much more friendly than in previous years ☺️We tried all 3 à la cartes. (again) They have been significantly improved. The experience is like eating out in a restaurant. The service and better quality wine was exceptional . We had a visit to a restaurant in town this year and while it was an enjoyable experience, the à la cartes provided better overall quality.The addition of the personal gym trainer, Eya, is a great asset to the hotel which they should promote more. To see a friendly, female face every morning is lovely, especially if you’re a woman attending a gym on her own. I’m lucky to always go with my husband, but it can be a typically male environment.The cleaners work very hard. They work constantly to keep the whole place immaculate, from morning until night. As do the gardeners.I also had a deluxe pedicure at the spa. Despite our language barrier she was very engaging and friendly and I was delighted with the result. Much cheaper than the UK.One of the disappointing things we witnessed this year was the lack of manners from some guests towards the staff and the amount of wasted food due to some guests piling up their plates and then not eating it.The biggest issue, and probably the only thing that might make us not return to this hotel, is the lack of non smoking areas. In this day and age we can’t believe that people can still smoke in outside eating areas and there’s no place on the terrace that’s for non smokers.Overall this is a fantastic hotel, the staff are amazing, and by giving a small tip in appreciation you get exceptional hospitality which just enhances your holiday even moreThank you Steigenberger ❤️"
