"We are currently staying here as a British family with a 12 year old son. The hotel is clean and well located, flew into Girona and it was only 30 mins in a taxi. Lots of places to eat and little shops near by. We are bed and breakfast so can’t comment on the food in the day but breakfast is fine (eggs, bacon, beans, toast, pancakes and pastries along with the usual fruit and cereal etc) .The pool is small and there are not enough sun beds for all guests. Very few parasols so it is hard to keep in the shade. There are no inflatables or balls allowed in the pool so it is hard to keep children and teenagers entertained. There is a pool handy man who jet washes the area and he is very rude and occasionally abusive to holiday makers who question him ( he is cleaning until gone 11am and won’t allow people to use the sun beds near the area which is not great when you are all fighting for a space!) . There is also a sporadically enforced ‘no reservation rule’ . Sometimes they remove towels and sometimes they don’t. Bar staff speak very little English so it’s hard to communicate with drinks and payment but we have gotten by. Reception staff speak a little more. I think we are one of only 3 or 4 British guest groups here, other guests are either Spanish, German or polish. The room is spacious and looks newly decorated, maid comes to make the bed every day and have a sweep. Day 4 now and yet to change the sheets but I’m sure they would if you asked. Safe is 35 euros for the week. Pool towels are 10 euro deposit each. Balcony’s are quite open, you can see into next door and if you have a small child they could easily go through the gap and cross over to next doors balcony (just fyi). We probably wouldn’t stay again purely due to the pool area not allowing much fun, but the entertainment team try and entertain as much as possible with games etc, but the allowance of inflatables and ball games would really improve the experience. Just another note, the hotel is dog friendly so there are pets being walked around reception area and obviously in the rooms. We haven’t heard any barking but it is worth noting if you are a) allergic to dogs or b) scared of dogs"

Goed verzorgd hotel met goed eten en vriendelijk personeel

"Wij hebben hier een heel fijne vakantie gehad. Het hotel voldeed zeker aan onze verwachtingen.De kamers waren mooi, proper en ruim genoeg. Het eten was lekker, gevarieerd en zeker niet smaakloos. Voor ieder wat wils en bijkruiden kan altijd. We begrijpen eerlijk gezegd de negatieve recensies hierover niet.in het restaurant is het inderdaad druk, maar is normaal met zoveel mensen, waaronder kinderen. Maar niet storend aangezien je hier geen uren zit. En als je met je eigen gezelschap het fijn maakt aan tafel, valt het ook niet op.De all-inclusiveformule was ruim voldoende.Het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. 's Avonds was het soms druk aan de bar, maar het personeel deed echt zijn best om iedereen zo snel mogelijk te bedienen.Ook een pluim voor het animatieteam: een groep vrolijke en enthousiaste jonge meisjes die elke dag leuke activiteiten organiseerden.Aan het zwembad waren er voldoende ligstoelen. Tijdens de eerste helft van onze vakantie was het geen probleem om een handdoek te leggen. Later werden onbeheerde handdoeken wel verwijderd. Dat vonden we even vreemd, maar eigenlijk was het geen probleem.De gezellige dinsdagmarkt is zeker een aanrader. Daarnaast ligt het treinstation vlak tegenover het hotel, waardoor je heel gemakkelijk andere kustplaatsen of Barcelona kunt bezoeken.Wij zijn met een heel tevreden gevoel naar huis gegaan en raden dit hotel zeker aan!De slecht recensies die we hier lazen, waren totaal niet van toepassing bij ons."
